Located at the southern border of Vienna, this wine-growing region provides ideal soil-conditions for the cultivation of wine: barren grounds that are rich of lime. Another advantage that enhances the optimum growth of the grapes is the pannonic climate with typical warm and dry summers. The landscape of the Thermenregion is shaped by the wide plane of the so called “Wiener Becken”.
